A little more sketchin'

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and then I am gonna do some shopping Friday so I am going to be getting a whole lot of not much done this week.

Drawing seems to help me clear my mind, same as guitar. Just as I remember... Good. I just need to do some noodlin and doodlin every morning. Thaaaaat sounds dirty.

I think I should also probably make some friends around this town, I plan to be here a while... maybe even stay. Need some homies to hang out with around these parts... but if I hang out with guys it usually ends in hiding from cops. A man can be smart, a group of men is as smart as it's dumbest member's mental acuity divided amongst the group.

The Alchemist is hopefully the shop keeper for the alchemy shop, I have no name for her yet. Yes, most of the NPCs are female. It's what comes out when I start scratching the pencil on the pad. I like looking at women better so I have a better visual library.

It's totally normal, I am not a creep! ... Usually.

The Old Friend is based on my memory of a girl I dated way back. I have a vivid image in my memory of her laying in bed lit by the blue light of her tiny tv. She had sleepy, icy blue eyes and jet black hair. I remember thinking her braces were cute. A really chill girl, fun to hang out with. When we broke up it was pretty amicable if I recall correctly. Last time I heard from her she had a family. Hope she's doing well out there.

Not sure what she will do in the game yet, I do need a lot of these to establish a style though... Also will be helpful testing multi-party conversations in the UI.

Also did some work on the servers today. Updates, mostly.

I'll probably do at least one or two more crappy sketches today. I really should hire an asset artist when I get enough money. Then I can spend more time writing the systems and designing the world and it's weird lore.
